High School Principal's Welcome

Welcome, and on behalf of the entire Gyeonggi Suwon International School (GSIS) family, thank you for visiting our website! GSIS is a school that offers an education of the whole person - the intellectual, physical, social, emotional and spiritual. As the High School Principal, I am excited about the exceptional programs we offer. Through our website, you will be able to meet our outstanding staff and gather pertinent information regarding GSIS. As you visit the various pages that are of interest to you, you will learn more about the diverse academic programs that includes the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, sports programs, student lifeministry activities as well as student activities in general.

Currently our school offers programs from Pre-K to Grade 11, and will be adding Grade 12 beginning in August of 2010. We have been accredited with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). We are currently candidate schools for the International Baccalaureate Organization's PYP and MYP programs. Last year we received accreditation to offer the Diploma Program. The entire GSIS community, from the Board of Trustees to the students has been committed to establish GSIS as a school with high academic standards.

Beyond our commitment to the intellectual development of our students, Gyeonggi Suwon International School is equally committed to bring the knowledge of Jesus Christ and the truths of Scripture to bear on the formation of young minds seeking to know and understand their world. This is what makes Gyeonggi Suwon International School unique. We're preparing our students for future education and a successful life, but we're also educating thein a way of life.
