Meals

Our cafeteria serves a mix of Western and Asian meals.

Academics

Daily study halls supervised by dorm staff and extra supervised study as needed between student and teacher after school.

Travel

Dorm students can make use of the school bus on a Monday morning and Friday afternoon. A trip to the bus/train station is provided after school on Friday including a return trip to the dorm at 8:30pm on Sunday. Please note that extra fees may apply for school bus usage.

Extracurricular

Dorm students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities at GSIS. Living on campus provides easy access and dorm living saves travel time for school activities/events.

Boarding Activities

Opportunities for activities include soccer, basketball, swimming, tennis, use of the gym, hiking, bowling, nights out for dinner, norebang (singing room).

Medical Services

The school nurse provides or arranges for physical assessments, first aid, urgent/emergency care, inpatient care (for maximum of 24 hours-should this be in here) and referral services. The nurse monitors the health status of all boarding students and administers prescription medication or supplements. As the nurse works full time for the school, she is available to the dorm on an on-call basis. An additional part-time nurse is readily available to dorm students as needed on weekends. All of our boarding staff receive training in CPR and first aid annually.
