Mr McNutt is the IB DP Coordinator here at GSIS. His primary responsibility is to ensure the successful delivery of the IB DP program to students in the 11th and 12th grades. In addition, he also teaches IB History and Theory of Knowledge. He is currently is the Head of the High School Social Studies Department.
Mr McNutt has been at GSIS since August 2009. Prior to that time, he worked five years at Taejon Christian International School in Daejeon, where he served as the High School Social Studies Department Head. He has also taught classes in History and English at the university and community college levels in the United States.
Steven McNutt was born in Nova Scotia, Canada. After completing a BA at Acadia University and a B Ed at Dalhousie University, he pursued graduate studies in history at Brigham Young University in Utah (MA) and Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
