Mr. Brent Frazier is currently the Residence Director for Taejon Christian International School (TCIS) and Gyeonggi Suwon International School (GSIS). He orchestrates seven dorms in Taejon and one dorm in Suwon. He manages resources for the residence program and continually monitors all aspects of the program to improve care for the boarders at both schools. He constantly reviews program needs and areas for improvement with other members of his staff. Both campuses strive to give all dorms a home-like atmosphere and to effectively meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of all boarding students. In conjunction with his residence duties, Mr. Frazier also acts as the food service director for the Taejon campus. As the varsity boys soccer coach, he is often found on the soccer field or spending time with students in some other recreational activity.
"Mr. Brent," as he is known among the students, has served in the boarding program at TCIS for the past 14 years. He began his career as a dorm parent with his wife Jo in 1993 when they served 7 years as dorm parents of the only dorm on the Taejon campus. He has been the director of the residence program since 1997. Growing up as a missionary kid in Nigeria, West Africa and attending boarding school for five years during his secondary school years there, Mr. Frazier has a passion for serving boarding students and brings a wealth of experience and understanding to the residence program. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education and is currently nearing completion of a masters degree in organizational leadership at Philadelphia Biblical University.
Brent and Jo have been married for 27 years and consider Taejon their home. They both stay current with best practices by caring for home-boarders each year, which they have done yearly since stepping outside the dorm parent role. They have two sons that graduated from TCIS and are now in the United States.
